Unlike other hospitals, SKSH is a tertiary hospital highly specialized for specific fields of medicine with centers of excellence. To provide high-quality service and care in the most efficient manner, SKSH has established a referral system. SKSH has a 246 bed capacity for the care of inpatients, and a number of outpatient clinics open during the week. SKSH opened seven general wards: three male wards, three female wards, one mixed ward, and a VIP ward. Additional wards include three ICU’s: Cardiac ICU with 10 beds and Medical ICU with 20 beds.
