Available Vacancies: Store Inspector
Job Purpose:
The Store Inspector acts as the intermediary between the procurement and maintenance teams, ensuring that all aircraft parts, tools, and equipment are stored, maintained, and issued on time according to approved standards. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of Air Arabia and third-party aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the stores’ functions, including items, systems, and safety measures such as material shelf life, transportation, and calibration of tools.
- Act as the link between the stores, stakeholders, and Quality Assurance to ensure aircraft spare parts and equipment are timely and adequately provided, particularly in Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.
- Conduct inspections on all items and document compatibility before issuing certificates.
- Ensure proper storage and issuance of parts in line with safety regulations, including packing, tagging, and labeling.
- Verify documentation, content, and serviceability of shipments.
- Handle the storage and shipment of dangerous goods in compliance with IATA regulations.
- Ensure shelf life and calibration reports are regularly reviewed.
- Liaise with procurement and inventory controllers to manage the stock and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role within the aviation industry, ideally with a low-cost airline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Moroccan nationality is required, and fluency in both English and French is essential.
- Knowledge of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations is advantageous.
