PROCUREMENT OFFICER
Candidate Responsibilities:
- SOURCING: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and other relevant factors
- NEGOTIATION: Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers/vendors to obtain the best possible deals and ensure cost savings
- PURCHASE ORDER MANAGEMENT: Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- REPORTING: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including key performance indicators.
- SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers/vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, resolve issues, and address any concerns.
